I went for my PET scan yesterday morning at MUSC .. they didn’t realize I had a CT scheduled right after that I also needed contrast for so they took the needle out and I had to get stuck again. After the PET/CT i had my doctors appt and speech therapy appt. We finally were on the way home about 2 something. When we got about halfway home, MUSC called and told me. i needed to go to the ER because the scan showed my feeding tube had dislodged into my abdominal wall (my abdomen was starting to hurt). They told me I could come back to MUSC or go to an ER here at home. My parents met me at home to take me to Grand Strand ER. I spent about 4&1/2 hours there .. no one seemed to know what they were doing and they wouldn't touch my feeding tube since MUSC put it in. They also said one of their scans showed my feeding tube was in the correct place (it was not). They called MUSC and they said they wanted me back in Charleston. So.. 12am in the fog my parents drove me to Charleston. We go...

Thank you for all of your prayers!! I am thanking the Good Lord as the doctor’s office called and said that there was no sign of cancer or dysplasia! They said that it was just inflammation. God is good. Psalm 100:4-5 "Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations"

 Prayer Warriors,                    I had a follow-up appointment with one of the surgeons a few days ago. While she said everything looked good for the most part, there was one spot on the other side of my tongue that she did not like the looks of (and it had been hurting me). She doesn't think that it's cancer, but since I have surprised the doctors before, they wanted to be absolutely sure and safe, so they did another biopsy. Please continue to keep me in your prayers. I pray that it's just still hurting from the original surgery and distorted as a result of that and not another cancer spot.  Love you all💗 "For we walk by faith, not by sight."   -2 Corinthians 5:7
